This is Taurus, Latin for “The Bull.”
Though we like to think we’re smart, apparently we’re the reason Cretans exist, according to Greek mythology:
In Greek mythology, Zeus assumes the form of a magnificent white bull to abduct Europa, a legendary Phoenician princess, and thus, fathers Minos. The tale informs the names of constellations since it is necessary to traverse the area of sky known as the Sea to reach it. When passing through the Zodiac, it forms the origin of the myth of the Cretan Bull, one of The Twelve Labors of Heracles… Minos inspires the name given to the ancient Aegean civilization of Crete.
We are dependable, stable, good in the sack, and big eaters. We also take a long time to do things, but only because we think them through. Most people think we’re assholes, and none of us know why.
Taurus is compatible with the other earth signs: Virgo and Capricorn.
